Someone once suggested to me that the life we share with a dog is not about dogs or dog sports at all. That the interaction between us is simply a vessel to teach us the lessons we are intended to learn as we travel through life. The lessons are always there, but not always noticed. We may be so wrapped up in “training” the dog that we fail to grasp what the dog is trying to share with us. However, if we don’t take the time to see the lesson, you can be certain it will come around to us again.
This got me thinking about the dogs that are sent to join each of us as we travel along our individual journeys and why we get the dog that we do at such specific points in our lives. Our lessons will include those of friendship, love and loyalty. There are those of gratitude, as we learn to look for the bright side in any situation. And just as failure will not define our future, neither will we rely on successes to create our sense of self worth.
Estonians speak a soft, melodious language. Estonia is rich in folk songs. Estonians are poetically inclined, with lively imaginations and good memories. They are benevolent and of a friendly disposition (…), but certain vices, like flying into a rage, the desire for revenge and stubbornness, are not altogether alien to them (…). "Imagine the scene in 'Casablanca' in which the French patrons sing 'La Marseillaise' in defiance of the Germans, then multiply its power by a factor of thousands, and you've only begun to imagine the force of 'The Singing Revolution'." Matt Zoller Seitz, The New York Times

The best friend a man has in the world may turn against him and become his enemy. His son or daughter that he has reared with loving care may prove ungrateful. Those who are nearest and dearest to us, those whom we trust with our happiness and our good name may become traitors to their faith. The money that a man has, he may lose. It flies away from him, perhaps when he needs it most. A man's reputation may be sacrificed in a moment of ill-considered action. The people who are prone to fall on their knees to do us honor when success is with us, may be the first to throw the stone of malice when failure settles its cloud upon our heads.
The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous is his dog. A man's dog stands by him in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. He will sleep on the cold ground, where the wintry winds blow and the snow drives fiercely, if only he may be near his master's side. He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer. He will lick the wounds and sores that come in encounters with the roughness of the world. He guards the sleep of his pauper master as if he were a prince. When all other friends desert, he remains. When riches take wings, and reputation falls to pieces, he is as constant in his love as the sun in its journey through the heavens.
If fortune drives the master forth, an outcast in the world, friendless and homeless, the faithful dog asks no higher privilege than that of accompanying him, to guard him against danger, to fight against his enemies. And when the last scene of all comes, and death takes his master in its embrace and his body is laid away in the cold ground, no matter if all other friends pursue their way, there by the graveside will the noble dog be found, his head between his paws, his eyes sad, but open in alert watchfulness, faithful and true even in death.

As we all know, or at least long time breeders know, there is no perfect dog:) But we really try to do our best and fullfill our future puppy owners expectations. And every time when a person wants a puppy we try to select the best one for it's expectations. So, even there is no perfect dog, there is always the perfect dog for an owner. That is what we are up to and here are some of the testimonials from our puppy owners and from our friends breeders.

When I am old...
I will wear soft gray sweatshirts and a bandana over my silver hair.
I will spend my social security checks on wine and my dogs.
I will sit in my house on my well-worn chair and listen to my dogs breathing.
I will sneak out in the middle of a warm summer night and take my dogs for a run, if my old bones will allow...
When people come to call, I will smile and nod as I show them my dogs and talk of them and about them.
The ones so beloved of the past and the ones so beloved of today....
I will still work hard cleaning after them, mopping and feeding them and whispering their names in a soft loving way.
I will wear the gleaming sweat on my throat, like a jewel and I will be an embarrassment to all; especially my family who have not yet found the peace in being free to have dogs as your best friends.
From time to time, people tell me, "lighten up, it's just a dog," or, "that's a lot of money for just a dog." They don't understand the distance traveled, the time spent, or the costs involved for "just a dog."
Some of my proudest moments have come about with "just a dog." Many hours have passed and my only company was "just a dog," but I did not once feel slighted. Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by "just a dog," and in those days of darkness, the gentle touch of "just a dog" gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day.
He is your friend, partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.
If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them.
Phil Pastoret
My goal in life is to be as good of a person my dog already thinks I am.
Ma ei suuda endale ette kujutada, kuidas keegi, kes elab targa ja teda jumaldava koeraga, võiks olla üksildane.
E. von Arnim
Kui tahad mind armastada, armasta mu koera.
St. Bernhard von Clairvaux
Grown-ups are like that... When you tell them that you have made a new friend, they never ask you any questions about essential matters. They never say to you, "What does his voice sound like? What games does he love best? Does he collect butterflies?" Instead, they demand: "How old is he? How many brothers has he? How much does he weigh? How much money does his father make?"
Only from these figures do they think they have learned anything about him.
If you were to say to the grown-ups: "I saw a beautiful house made of rosy brick, with geraniums in the windows and doves on the roof," they would not be able to get any idea of that house at all.
You would have to say to them: "I saw a house that cost $ 20,000." Then they would exclaim: "Oh, what a pretty house that is!"
"The men where you live," said the little prince, "raise five thousand roses in the same garden and they do not find in it what they are looking for."
"They do not find it," I replied.
"And yet what they are looking for could be found in one single rose, or in a little water."
"Yes, that is true," I said.
And the little prince added: "But the eyes are blind. One must look with the heart..."
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and the frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They all play with each other.
When you cry be sure to dry your eyes Cause better days are sure to come And when you smile be sure to smile wide Don't let them know that they have won And when you walk, walk with pride Don't show the hurt inside Because the pain will soon be gone
And when you dream, dream big As big as the ocean blue Cause when you dream it might come true When you dream, dream big
When you laugh be sure to laugh out loud Cause it will carry all your cares away And when you see, see the beauty all around and in yourself And it'll help you feel okay And when you pray, pray for strength To help you carry on When the troubles come your way
And when you dream, dream big As big as the ocean blue Cause when you dream it might come true When you dream, dream big

Christmas is a time for love and fun, A time to reshape souls and roots and skies, A time to give your heart to everyone Freely, like a rich and lavish sun, Like a burning star to those whose lonely sighs Show need of such a time for love and fun. For children first, whose pain is never done, Whose bright white fire of anguish never dies, It's time to give your heart to every one, That not one angel fall, to hatred won For lack of ears to listen to her cries, Or arms to carry him towards love and fun, Or friends to care what happens on the run To adult life, where joy or sadness lies. It's time to give your heart to everyone, For God loves all, and turns His back on none, Good or twisted, ignorant or wise. Christmas is a time for love and fun, A time to give your heart to everyone.
